Easter Basket Build

Today we are gathering at Graeter's Ice Cream in Oakwood to put Easter Baskets together for Harvest Youth Ministry to distribute. Baskets will be filled with a lot of goodies: Candy, Stuffed Animals, small toys, etc. and wrapped ready to hand out.

We will also get copies of the Bylaw Amendment proposal and the Slate of Officers.

Join us for the fun and ice cream...I hope to post some pictures later.

March Happenings

Much going on this month. Monday, March 1st, was International Panhellenic Badge Day. I hope you all wore your badge on Monday to show your support for the Greek system and to demonstrate to the non-Greeks we know our service continues throughout our lifetimes.

Today, March 4 - We held our Phantom Char-i-Tea at 2:00 and I hope to receive many RSVPs (checks of course) to show your attendance and MARCH 4th into Service as AOII goes Blue! Red Rose tea bags were provided for all to enjoy with each other wherever we were today at 2pm.

Next Wednesday, March 10th, we will meet at The Reserve in Centerville to slate the officers for our upcoming election and review our Bylaws. Please make every effort to attend. The meeting starts at 6:30. This will be a pivotal election as we need to examine how we will move forward as a chapter over the next two years.

On Saturday, March 27th, perhaps one of our most enjoyable meetings...The Easter Basket Build! We will meet at Graeter's Ice Cream in Oakwood at 1PM to build Easter Baskets for Harvest Youth Ministries. Bring lots of candy, small toys, books, etc to spread our love to the children who might not otherwise receive an Easter basket.

Finally Catching Up

OK, so it's been a while since I've posted and I need to catch up with our activities, so just some brief summaries:

We had a great Mother/Daughter tea in December. Due to our timing restriction, we had several collegians who were unable to attend as they were just traveling home for the break.

January was our officers meeting and we did some brainstorming on the upcoming officer elections and how to recruit some new/young members.

In February, we brought in the Chinese New Year with dinner at the China Cottage and our annual candle exchange.
