As you all know, we sent 14 different care packages to the various POCs we have already received a Thank You note from Chi Epsilon (The Ohio State University) for the very nice surprise gift of goodies we sent. How wonderful to know the small little items we all bought and donated, the great time of socializing we had while putting them together also brought these collegiates a warm feeling knowing we cared enough to do this act of kindness.
I am so very proud to belong to a loving, caring group of women. It's amazing that the great times I had while in the Kappa Delta chapter have grown beyond comprehension to the relationships I have with the rest of the Dayton Alumnae, as well as the AOII's all over the country I've met and gotten known online. AOII is truly for a lifetime!

Easter Baskets Delivered!
We built and delivered a total of 59 baskets to the Harvest Youth Ministries! 12 for Moms, 2 for infants (1 for a boy, 1 for a girl) and 45 for kids. The baskets were stuffed to the rims and we had a great time doing it. Special thanks to Ann Schmidt for her scavenging skills in obtaining baskets, small toys and books. Thanks to Heather Hawkins for the personal care items. Everyone pitched in with other small items and candy. Then, of course, we had ice cream...can't do a build at Graeter's Ice Cream Shoppe without treating ourselves to their delicious offerings.
Pastor Jim Kilby was very thankful for our Easter Baskets. A non-profit such as his really gets a boost out of donations like ours.
Thank you all, Dayton AOII!
